793 Standards Committee
Hardware and software standards for the Mohawk Regional Information Center are established by a committee representative of the four BOCES areas served (Herkimer, Jefferson-Lewis, Oneida and Madison-Oneida). Standards help the Regional Information Center with cost effectiveness and efficiency.

The committee, known as the 793 Standards Subcommittee, has representatives from different positions within school districts such as business officials, superintendents, and technology coordinators. In this way, decisions affecting the establishment of standards are discussed from various viewpoints involving cost, ease of repair, expertise of support technicians, bidding requirements, etc. The standards committee meets several times each school year.
